In 2024, the Frisco Fighters are starting season four even though they actually started in 2020 but had to pause due to the pandemic. Since 2021 the Fighters have been a dominate team in the IFL by making the playoffs in three consecutive seasons (2021, 2022 and 2023). Unfortunately, missing out on the championship game by losing in the semi-finals of the playoffs.

In 2024, the Frisco Fighters are looking to reach the mountain top and finally win a championship. They have shown to have a team that can do it. They just need to complete the task.

Last season, former Fighters head coach Billy Beck stepped down as head coach of the Frisco Fighters.

In his place was assistant coach Andre Coles who has now been promoted has a full-time active head coach. It will be interesting to see how coach Coles will do in his first season. As for league MVP, that honor went to quarterback TJ Edwards and because of that, San Antonio Bramas of the United Football League wanted to take a look for the upcoming season. Unfortunitely four days later, he became a free agent and the Fighters brought him back home.

Similar to last season, the 14 IFL teams are divided into two conferences: East and West. Frisco is part of the East conference which also has the Green Bay Blizzard, Iowa Barnstormers, Jacksonville Sharks, Massachusetts Pirates, Quad City Steamwheelers, Sioux Falls Storm and Tulsa Oilers.

In the Fighters 2024 campaign, they start at home against the Tulsa Oilers. The Texas-Oklahoma rivalry heats up in the indoor game as the Fighters organization is calling this “The Red River Rumble.” That game is in week 2 on March 24 at 5:30 PM central time.
